In the cranking state of the turbine, the high-pressure start oil pump should be stopped, and the AC lubricating oil pump should be started to supply oil to the lubricating oil system and the cranking device. There are fewer oil pipelines to be installed and the system layout is relatively simple. On the outlet oil pipe of the main oil pump of the Austrian 12MW steam turbine, the system is divided into a power oil pipe and a lubricating oil pipe through a 517 orifice plate. The power oil is controlled by the oil pressure to switch the high-pressure speed regulating valve and the low-pressure regulating valve respectively to control the thermal and electrical load of the unit.

The oil pipeline of the domestically made 12MW steam turbine governor system is divided into pressure oil, primary pulsation oil, secondary pulsation oil, etc. Under the action of the primary pulsating oil pressure and the secondary pulsating oil pressure, the pressure oil switches the high-pressure speed regulating valve and the low-pressure rotating baffle respectively to control the thermal and electrical load of the unit. The main oil pump of the 12MW steam turbine produced in Austria is a self-priming high-pressure oil pump, and the AC oil pump is a high-pressure screw pump with high output. Since the main oil pump is a self-priming oil pump, no other auxiliary equipment is needed to supply oil to its inlet, and the output of the main oil pump and AC oil pump are relatively large, which can meet the needs of unit operation. The main oil pumps of domestic 12MW steam turbines are mostly radial centrifugal pumps. In order to ensure the normal operation of the inlet oil pressure, an injector is generally designed to supply oil to its inlet.
