Misunderstanding 3: Two oil change methods
The “hand change” operation is convenient and time-consuming. The disadvantage is that the oil change is not thorough, and only one-fourth to one-third of the old oil can be drained, which is about 4 liters.
The whole process of “machine replacement” takes about 1 hour and requires about 12 liters of oil. The advantage of this oil change method is that the oil change is more thorough and can drain more than 85% of the old oil.
It is worth noting that both oil changes must be performed when the engine is started. When replacing the automatic transmission fluid, it must be in the state of a hot car during operation. You should drive for more than 20 minutes before the replacement. Do not change the oil when the car is cold. When changing the oil, start the engine and switch the gears from P gear to N, D, L1, L2 and other gears, and then start changing the oil.
